I started pole dancing at 25 with no real intention other than to try something new. Very quickly, my pole dance community became my everything. Learning many lessons in empathy, overcoming obsessive-compulsiveness (that, at the time, felt like unwavering dedication), and self-absorption, I decided I would open my own pole studio space in my hometown of Duluth, GA.
When the pandemic hit, I learned what pole dancing and sensual movement truly meant not only to me but also to our community of members. As we sat in lockdown, I remember doing virtual classes from my home - living for those short virtual moments together.

A pole dance studio was much more than learning impressive “pole tricks” and sexy dancing. It’s a place for women to reclaim their sexy, overcome fear, embrace their sensual side, and ignite their personal development journey in ways no other workout could. It is the ultimate expression of self-love.
When my students share that “they’ve been more assertive at work” or that they were able to “put up a healthy boundary” or “leave a bad relationship” or “stop following a script they think they’re supposed to be following”, I celebrate them wholeheartedly.
